Ingredients:
- 2 cups flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 egg
- 8 oz Food for Thought Blackberry Shiraz Preserves (1 jar)

Preheat the oven to 350°. Lightly grease a 13 x 9-inch pan.
Cream sugar and butter in a large bowl; stir in egg and vanilla. Add flour and salt, mixing until just combined.
Spread 3/4 of batter onto the bottom of the pan. Spread the jam evenly over the batter. Dot with the remaining batter.
Bake for 30 - 40 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool completely before cutting into squares.
