The sweetly herbaceous flavor of fresh carrots is perfectly highlighted by a toss with cream mustard and melted butter. Slender fingerling carrots roast quickly and are ready in just minutes.

  • 1 lb fresh fingerling carrots, greens trimmed short
  • 2 T melted butter
  • 1 T FFT Maple Cream Mustard
  • Salt & freshly ground black pepper

  • 1 lb fresh fingerling carrots, greens trimmed short

Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F.
    1. Scrub the carrots well and set aside. In a medium bowl, mix the melted butter and Food for Thought Maple Cream Mustard until smooth. Add the carrots and toss to coat evenly. Spread the carrots evenly on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet. Sprinkle with a little salt and pepper.

    2. Slide into the preheated oven and roast for about 25-30 minutes, or until the carrots are cooked through and easily pierced with a fork.
